Comfort Keepers teaches and fosters a unique philosophy of caregiving called Interactive Caregiving™. Interactive Caregiving™ creates an environment of engaging and stimulating interaction between seniors and in-home caregivers that cultivates mental vitality and emotional well-being.
A positive, active and engaged senior enjoys a better quality of life and state of wellness. Basically it means instead of “doing for” our clients, we provide care by “doing with” our clients, engaging their participation at their level of function. Interactive Caregiving is an opportunity to interact one-to-one with a person, engaging them, learning about them, and giving them the gift of personalized, thoughtful attention while meeting their other needs. Our caregivers discover that they get to have fun with their clients during each shift and be a part of the joy found by clients participating in activities they enjoy.
Comfort Keepers has always supported low-income, underserved seniors with pro bono services, purchases of food, appliances, household goods, home repairs, etc. After so many successful years in business, the owner of Comfort Keepers wanted to give back to the community. A few years ago, a foundation was created (501 c 3 public charity as defined by the IRS). Through this non-profit entity, we have been able to expand our assistance to more deserving, often forgotten seniors who desire to remain in their own home.
Call us and discover how a truly unique and compassionate home care company can make a difference in the life of a senior.

I am a current client of this provider
I feel that our caregiver is a good match for my mom. She's good and Comfort Keepers was able to find the right person within just a couple of days. Mom is comfortable with her. She's warm and friendly and always there when needed. She was above our expectation. She was excellent. Very nurturing and attentive. They do a good job there with providing us the person we needed. However I would like them to improve on sending their notifications, like on the change of caregivers. Sometimes it cant be helped but they could've let us know a little bit sooner that someone couldn't make it.
Provider Response
Thank you for taking the time to write a very positive review for Comfort Keepers. We sincerely apologize for not notifying you earlier regarding the change in caregivers. Sometimes illness or other unforeseen circumstances will prevent a scheduled caregiver from his or her assignment. We pride ourselves in always being able to staff our assignments, but occasionally must send a new caregiver at the last minute.
