    Overall, it has been good. I am very happy with the aides they send. I am just disappointed in the transition process. I am not likely to recommend them. They are transitioning and they are not going to be providing home health aide services. They did not inform us, and now we are scrambling.

    I know that my mother is in good hands. I'm comfortable knowing that she has a daily companion to take care of her. The company is easy to communicate with when I have an issue. They are very reachable, and if I have to leave a message, they get back to me quickly.

    It's not too bad. We had a lot of problems, and we've gone without a few times because of the situation they put us in. They need to get their act together and come when they say they are going to come. We are depending on them to help take care of my mother because we have a life also. I have to give up appointments and jobs sometimes to take care of her. It's been rough. I haven't been too happy with it from the beginning. We had a lot of problems. The lady came sometimes and sometimes she didn't. She made a lot of excuses, so there were plenty of times that we had to go without care. I thought at the beginning when they came to do the interview at the house, it would be good. They do come out when they have to when we need it.

    They have good communication and they tell me how my grandma is doing while I'm not there. There have been Issues with some aides in the past who were leaving and not returning, and bringing boyfriends or girlfriends. Our current one is doing well.

    Since we didn't have any care at night, we had to stay upstairs. My mom cannot get up or walk on her own. It made our lives much easier. The girls are very nice.

    She encourages me to get up and take the extra step. If something is going on, she can see how I am and if I am not happy. It's like a family to me. I needed someone to help me, and they show me love. They sit down and talk to me.

    It gave me peace of mind and I was comfortable with the two aides at the end. We initially had problems with being able to contact them, but they worked with me and things really did improve. I was also concerned about how the aidws that they were sending weren't familiar with my aunt's case, but that did improve too.

    The provider sent the aides to me and they are very good. They do the things that need to be done, no more and no less. They send the supplies when I'm almost out. They are dependable. The whole team is very dependable so far. I have recommended them to others. I tell my friends they are a good place and you come out better with them than any other agency.

    They can have better consistency in communication. Everything seems very fragmented and it was very difficult to reach someone. It often takes multiple phone calls when my mother needs something. They are constantly inefficient with the people that they send. There was zero consistency for the first few months. The communication is just baffling.

    They could have sent out workers who were experienced in dementia. My grandmother got robbed of all her stuff. She has no valuable stuff left in her home.

    They helped most by giving a feedback report that I could see and were willing to take special instructions for my sister. In the beginning, they were agreeable with allowing me to have a three or four day arrangement, and then later on they changed their policy. I had to have someone be there five days a week.

    My mom has short-term memory loss and if she is alone and does not have anyone attending to her, she will forget what is going on. Lydia, the caregiver, has done a great job at making her happier. I like that they pay attention to detail and the actual care is high quality.

    The caregivers sometimes don't show up on the weekends and they don't call it in. They are very understanding of what my concerns are and they follow through on them, though. They are very accommodating. They could have better training for the young caregivers and have more supervision in the field. They have young people that should be supervised in the field because they don't have any experience.

    The quality of the caregiver they send us is much higher than any other companies we have been with, which is our chief concern. They look after my wife so it's less work for me to do and I am less concerned. I have no concern about her safety or welfare.

    It's important that the agency calls me and lets me know who's coming to my home. I don't like someone just showing up at my apartment. There were times when the agency would send me a substitute caregiver that only spoke English, but my parents only speak English. They're doing enough and the agency is great. They take care of both of my parents with making sure that they're clean.

    I like that in my grandmother's file, they have what she likes and dislikes. It is not just taking care of their patient, it makes their patient feel better and happier. We all work, so there is not much time for me to be here all the time. Having someone be here is great.

    They always get back to me within the same day that I call. The people show up and in my opinion, they could probably do more. They're there to keep my loved one company. They shouldn't have to be told what to do, they should just be doing it. They're there to make sure my loved one is okay. There is always someone there with my loved one when we are not able to be.

    The caregiver that I have now is great. She's very attentive to my mother and is nice. I didn't like the other caregivers that I had before, though. I don't know if the caregiver is supposed to cook or provide all of the food that's cooked, but that would take a load off.

    The communication with the office staff is in contact with me with how things are going. The caregivers keep me informed. The communication helps me to navigate medication, set up appointments, and gives around the clock achievement with my mom. My mom seems more aware than she was before. She is more lively even though she cannot speak.

    There have been times where I have gone over and found the aides sleeping in the house not watching my mother in her bed. Some of the aides are fine, some are not. The aides that come on the weekend are supposed to just lightly clean but they feel like they are supposed to just watch my mother, and not do the dishes or take the trash out.

    When my regular caregiver went on vacation, they had lots of other aides come and it was a disaster, they had 5 aides come and that was too many people for my mother to handle. My mom is a special case because she can't talk or move, and I told them that she had to keep these two aides because she will only open her mouth for them.

    I also liked the initial caregivers. I did have a problems with one of the caregivers because she was very young. As a consequence my mom did sustain a broken wrist because she let my mother walk where she wanted even though I told her that she needed to be with her and walk with her at all times. They make sure that she is consistent with her medication and her food and is engaged throughout the day.

    I find that their billing and invoices are confusing, unclear, and inaccurate, but they are reliable. My experience with my aides has been pretty good. My father has had really good aides as his regulars. They have made my life a lot easier because I know he is being taken care of. I don't have to worry about someone not showing up, and if one of his regulars don't show up, they will send a replacement.

    The aides who come to the house seem to be efficient. They rank better than some other aides I've had in the past. I would like for them to be a little more proactive instead of sitting and looking at their phones when nothing is going on. They could keep the client busy cognitively. In my husband's case, he gets lightheaded because of blood pressure, so they stay on top of that in making sure he doesn't fall.

    They tried really hard to assess the situation, and the home aide was very kind and skilled. We developed a good rapport with the company. They were understanding when I had a cancel the services. The services were short lived, but they provided care and attention to my loved one and his condition.

    I would say that some of the caregivers that came were excellent while others were not. They need to vet their caregivers better. They helped a lot. My mom needed full care; for the most part they did a good job with the cleaning, shopping, and daily care.

    We really didn't have Hometeam for long, but the specialization geared towards the patients is very helpful. The note bad that they provided where they could log my aunt's issues, which wound up in the company and they documented the information, so if I had any questions it was documented. The personalization and one-on-one assistance was helpful.

    We were really pleased with the level of care that my dad received. They caregiver took really good care of my dad. I didn't have to worry about my dad when the caregiver came. If things were not the way they should be, she called me first and gave me feedback about my dad.

    It's been a year now since we've had a caregiver in our home, and it's all been smooth. They all know what to do. We've been blessed with good relationships. With the supervisors and the other people they have at the office, if I ever have any questions or issues, they never left me by myself to solve them. They've helped me through things, and everything has worked out perfectly. One time a girl called out at the last minute, and Hometeam called me right away to let me know the caregiver couldn't come, so they let me know who they were sending instead. They've always been on point with communication, never once have I had any issues with that. I want to keep them all to myself. They make sure that we receive professional care at all times.

    They are disorganized because I have trouble getting timely callbacks and things take a long time to get done. There is also a lot of turnover so it is hard to find someone who is familiar with our case. We have trouble getting things accomplished and call backs from the agency in general.

    They are informative, and they let me know in advance that they are looking for a caregiver. They work very hard to find someone who is suited for the needs of the clients. They oversee my loved one's everyday care, they basically have to do everything for her, and without that care, she would be in a nursing home.

    When I was trying to match my grandmother with a caregiver, Hometeam did a really good job working with me to match her with someone who has been a really good fit. My grandmother has Alzheimer's and can't remember very well, but she recognizes her caregiver as a friend who helps her out. I think they did a great job listening to our needs. With Hometeam, I feel confident that if I am not home, my grandmother has someone with her paying attention to her. They take her out for walks and interact with her through the day.

    There are a lot of positives. They're good at finding the right person to work with my mother. It's made a huge difference. My brothers and I don't have to worry about the care. Both of our parents actually have care from Hometeam. We don't have to worry about them being alone at any time. We know that they're fed three times a day, and that their medications are taken on time. It's really made life easier for all of us. The staff that they have there is absolutely amazing.

    The caregivers that come here are not capable of taking care of my mother. They dropped her in the tub and cracked her head open. The aide that's supposed to be permanent is not capable to handle my mother. My mother is 140 pounds, she's not a big woman. They need to screen their workers and find out if they are capable, or there will be a lawsuit on their hands. I miss work whenever there's a new caregiver, and I lose pay. Half of them are too young and they don't know what they're doing.

    Someone came to my house in the morning and it was not Dad's regular caregiver. I was not informed till late the night before that the caregiver would be someone new. The regularly scheduled person will not be available, but I will not get notice in a timely fashion. If someone does not come, the office calls after a few hours to ask if he still needs care, when obviously he does. The services are helpful to me because I am disabled, too, and have a hard time caring for my dad as well as myself.

    Just started with Hometeam after speaking with their wonderful intake people over the phone. Was very excited to begin with an agency that assured me they had high quality aides that they trained and did thorough background checks on. One of the reasons we left our old agency was due to the turnover of aides. During the first week with Hometeam, we had 3 different aides for a 20 hour work week. The original "permanent aide" was no longer available. Then another permanent aide began to help my mother. After two days, she was already trying to sell my mother "$80 face creams, asked for money for food that she did not buy, ate more food than the person she was caring for, and didnt even cook.! The agency sounds better on the phone and is unable to deliver what they promise.

    Is there any way to give them a NEGATIVE rating!? We started on 7/15 and there has not been ONE WEEKEND SINCE THEN where there has NOT been SERIOUS ISSUES! My step-father is paralyzed on the left side; meaning NO function (sight, hearing, mobility, etc.). He is 5'8" so we ask that the aide not be too short and that they bring a change of clothes due to his bedsore issues. These are the only two things we ask. Hometeam sent over 3 people to our apartment to "assess" the patient. During the 2 hours they were there, the nurse spent all her time talking to the aide we were trying to replace and NOT talking to or looking at the patient himself. From the beginning, we were sent an aide that made inappropriate remarks, aides that were coming off of 24 to 48-hour jobs so that they were too exhausted to come back after the first day of work. EVERY Sunday morning around 7am we'd get a call from Jovanna or Jose to tell us that the aide wasn't coming back. Every weekend. We ask them to send us someone, and we got no return calls. They leave their shifts and pass the issue to the next person. There is NO COMMUNICATION within the company. They don't answer the phones, not even for their aides that need help. They don't return phone calls. I also did find out that the first nurse had told the past aides that the "patient has 50 mobility on the right side and 25% mobility on the left side and is able to stand"?! They had a second nurse come to our place to reevaluate him and they still can't get their act together. They think that they can just pass you along and that you'll just take whatever you can get. Our case is a 12-hour case and it is too much to expect someone to do 3 12-hour shifts after coming off of a 24-48-hour case. The other issue is that these aides were coming straight from the other cases (or so we were told) and they never brought any food. So now, I'm cooking for and feeding all these aides and they're too tired to come back. Where does this leave me and the patient??? This goes on for some time and then I found out that I had to work on the weekend. I have been fired from past weekend jobs in the past due to issues with aides so when I was told I was going to get another chance to work I tried to make sure that nothing would go wrong. For a month before my job this past weekend (10/5-8) I specifically asked Hometeam to let us have a specific aide (Samantha) just for that weekend so that I wouldn't have to worry about a safety issue. Yes, they have sent us aides that have dropped him and caused my mother to hurt her hip and leg (that we still haven't been able to take care of because we still haven't had a weekend free to get her to a doctor), etc. We were told that they would work on it and I even have texts and emails saying that they were working on this. They totally lead us to believe that this would be in place because NOT ONCE DID THEY TELL US NO. NOT ONCE DID THEY SAY THAT THIS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE. The weekend before I had to work (10/1-3) they sent us a new aide that they said would be our new permanent aide. After working with her, she is a new aide and was still very shaky so we all agreed that we would work with her again from THIS weekend (10/14-16) when I was back home and we didn't have to worry about safety issues. They even agreed to send us Samantha to work with her for a day the week of 10/1-3 so that she got a better feel for what she needed to do. Of course, this was a mess. Long story short, it took the full week of confronting people. Literally lying to me while I am texting and emailing with the people they are lying to me about. I finally got it fixed at 4:54pm on Friday (10/5). This weekend; according to them, we're supposed to have the aide from 2 weeks ago as the permanent aide. I called to check. That aide is NOT in the system for this coming weekend or any weekend. THERE IS NO AIDE IN THE SCHEDULE! DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. THEY SIGN YOU, THEN CHEW YOU UP AND SPIT YOU OUT. THEY DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOU, YOUR LOVED ONES OR THE ELDERLY!!!

    We’ve used Hometeam for over a month now. They’re very good. My mom is happy with them, and they help her no less. We have them there for 24 hours a day. She’s gaining strength, and they want to try to cut down the number of hours. They’re very friendly, very pleasant, and very open. They send reports several times a day as to what’s been going on.

    We have an in-home caregiver from Hometeam for my mother. So far, it has been good. She is doing what she has to do. She is cooking, giving my mother a shower, and basic stuff where my mother needs help.
