Visiting Angels caregivers must pass an in-depth screening process, including the most comprehensive criminal and sex offender background checks in the industry. And, in order to assure the best fit, our clients always are offered the opportunity to select their caregiver from our experienced staff. All caregivers are supervised by an RN who develops an individual care plan tailored to meet the specific needs of each care recipient.

In addition to our Core Companion/Home Management and Personal Care services, we offer several unique services that have been shown to successfully extend the length of time Visiting Angels care recipients have been able to stay in their homes:

• Life Care Navigation: Individual Care oversight by a staff R.N. who provides professional assessments, ongoing support and coordination of care with in-home care providers, other medical professionals, and family members.
• AngelCalls: regularly scheduled telephone wellness checks and medication reminders.
• TouchPoint Care technology: our innovative Interactive Voice Recognition system used by our caregivers to submit daily reports about their visits with your loved one. That information and their observations are accessible by designated family members and healthcare professionals on our secure website 24/7.
• In-Depth Training for caregivers working with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s clients.
