Senior Helpers

As a product of the "baby boomer" generation, I know what its like to wish there were more hours in the day for them. My step-father, whom I loved as a father, suddenly became ill and pasted away about seven years ago. I had my mom leave the house that she shared with my father for thirty years and move up to Loveland to be closer to me. Still I was unable to provide her with all the help she needed, since, like most, I held a full time job.

I desperately searched for someone to help me provide the care and companionship to my mother that I felt I was unable to give to her. I even rearranged my work schedule to only four days a week, so I was able to have a whole day to help my mom run errands, grocery shop, or just have a cup of coffee. I still found it was not enough. Even though my mom is able to drive and live independently, I still wished I had more time to help her out.

I thought it was hopeless until I heard about Senior Helpers and realized my prayers had been answered. Here are compassionate people who are to be there with my mom when i can't. Here are the hours in the day I couldn't find.

I hope I can provide your beloved parent with the companionship and assistance that you can't because we all know life gets in the way sometimes.
