What is Home Care?

Home care is the provision of non-medical in-home supportive care services for individuals who have chronic health problems which cause them to be functionally limited with daily living activities. These services can be provided for as little as 1 hour to as many as 24 hours a day, depending on the individuals needs.

We believe our elderly and infirmed citizens want to remain in the safe, familiar surrounding of their own homes. Offering the capability of staying at home keeps the family unit intact and enriches the lives of both the client and their family members.

Our Commitment

We are committed to promoting and improving the professional and ethical standards of the home care industry on both a local and a state level. To this end, we have been strongly involved in our state association; we helped draft the ethical standards which the association adopted. We are in the forefront of efforts to require licensure for our industry. We realize the more rigorous regulations accompanying licensure will serve as a strong measure to further ensure a high standard of ethical, quality care.
