New Generations Home Care, Inc.

For over a decade New Generations Home Care has provided the highest quality care for clients who suffer from chronic illness and disabilities. We provide nonmedical custodial care which has allowed hundreds of clients to maintain their health and independence while remaining at home. The scope of care ranges from personal care such as bathing,dressing and feeding to homemaker services like meal preparation,laundry and vaccuming . Our caregivers can accompany clients to the doctor or run errands such as picking up prescriptions and grocery shopping. We develop a care plan which attends to the daily needs of the client which allows the client to remain in the comfortable familiar surroundings of their home.

All caregivers are screened, undergo criminal background checks and bonded to ensure client protection. Orientation includes CPR and First Aid training as well as continuous in service training. When selecting a caregiver for a client we not only look at the physical and task requirements but also match the disposition and personality to ensure compatibility. All care is monitored by a nurse supervisor who visits clients regularly to ensure the care is of the highest quality and is meeting the client's needs. The nursing supervisor is also available to address specific issues which may arise from specific disease states such as skin conditions or erratic blood sugar reading with diabetic patients.

Levels of Services Include:

Personal Care

• Bathing,dressing,feeding(assisted as needed)
• Oral, skin, nail and hair care
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Mobility,transfer and reposition client
• Medication reminders
• Engage and assist in physical and mental exercises

Homemaker/Companion Services

• Light housekeeping-change bedding, laundry, ironing,dusting
• Transportation-accompany to doctor, religious services, shopping and errands
• Companionship-crafts, games, scrap and memory books.
• Help with instrumental activities such as maintaining clients calendar and help with organizing mail.
