Senior Helpers of Northern Virginia is setting a new quality standard in non-medical in-home care for Seniors. We have a strong track record of dependability and continuity of our caregivers, as evidenced by one of the highest referral rates in the region. We also have a strong institutional track record, because of the trust hospitals, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation clinics have in our service.

We specialize in providing professional caregivers to come into the homes of our clients and assist them with maintaining their independence and with what are called the "activities of daily living".

This includes: companionship (including monitoring and cuing for our clients with Alzheimer's or Dementia), Personal care (including bathing, dressing, grooming assistance and monitoring), personal hygiene, walking assistance, medication reminders, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and linen changing, errands and transportation, and household management.

We can offer this service from as little as 3-4 hours per day, right up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we also provide live-in caregivers. We are non-contractual, so you can stop your services anytime.

All of our caregivers are employees of our company. They are all personal and employment reference checked and criminal background checked, are fully insured, licensed, and bonded by Senior Helpers and work under the supervision of our staff nurse.
