From the Provider
When comparing home care companies in California there are many important issues to consider, however there is one critical issue; many home care companies that appear upfront and legitimate choose to operate with their caregivers as independent contractors. This tactic saves the company money, but passes enormous levels of liability onto their clients. Sadly, the clients are rarely made aware that they are risking hundreds of thousands of dollars in liability to save a few dollars an hour.
HomeCare Professionals has distinguished itself from this unscrupulous practice by becoming one of the select few CAHSAH Certified home care companies in the Bay Area. To our clients that means peace of mind knowing that our commitment to only the highest standards and practices have enabled our certification. We are the legal employer for all of our caregivers without exception, and all caregivers are fully bonded, insured and screened.
Our uncompromising operating policies coupled with our very competitive rates (which start at $21 per hour) make HomeCare Professionals the best value in home care in the Bay Area. We are here to help.

I am a past client of this provider
My father recently suffered a stroke. Although he was initially very resistant to the idea, the skilled nursing facility persuaded him to meet with a few in-home care providers several days prior to his discharge "just in case" he needed them.
Homecare Professionals was one of the three companies the facility recommended. Dad and I took an immediate liking to them right from the start. The Owner of company and one of their directors came to see us- not a sales person. During the interview the owner answered almost every question I had written down ahead of time before I even had a chance to ask them. He also brought up several issues that Dad and I had not considered. He was so much more informative than the other companies we meet with, and there was no pressure for us to make a decision. They also had the best rates.
We then interviewed a few of their caregivers. There was no cost for the interviews and we were definitely impressed with both of the people they sent. In fact we hired them both!
Thankfully dad really recovered quickly once he finally got home, so we only wound up using Homecare Professionals for about a month. The service was great- just what we expected. Always the same caregivers and they were very good with dad. I teased them that they were too good and worked themselves out of a job.
