GRISWOLD SPECIAL CARE refers Caregivers who provide personal care, homemaking, companionship, incidental transportation and other services to Clients wishing to remain safe and independent at home.

We are dedicated to maintaining the dignity, comfort, safety, personal hygiene, well-being and happiness of each and every client we serve by referring the highest quality professional caregivers at the lowest cost to the Client.

We are a non-medical home-care company. The individuals we refer will help with bathing, dressing, mouth care, grooming, ambulating, toileting, assistance with self-administered medication, cooking, feeding, light housekeeping, shopping, errands, and companionship.

Our philosophy is to keep home care affordable. Because we specialize in non-medical care, our overhead is lower than most competitors. We work hard to keep costs low so our services can remain affordable.

Our Caregivers are among the highest paid in the industry, so we can attract the best people in the field. By maintaining lower overhead costs most of the fees charged are paid directly to the Caregiver.

Some companies follow the industry standard. We have raised the standard! Each Caregiver undergoes a rigorous screening process that includes a telephone screen, and in-depth, face-to-face interview, thorough background checks, including at least four references and a criminal record check.

Initial home visits ensure a good match. We follow up with periodic calls and home visits to ensure continuing Client satisfaction. At the Client’s request, we will replace any Caregiver. Our goal is to provide the same Caregiver to offer continuity of care.
