My mom came to live with us last year and we realized that we needed additional help for her care a couple of days a week while we attend to work and other business. Mom's caregiver is very attentive (helping with mobility, toileting as needed, meal preparation and light cleaning) and has good communication with my husband and I. We are very satisfied with the owner of Home Instead Senior Services and mom's care manager who have both been very responsive to our needs. We would definitely refer our friends to Home Instead for care of their loved one!

My mother is suffering from dementia. She doesn’t think she needs a caregiver. She does! The caregivers provided by Home Instead have been understanding and responsive when working with her. They were very helpful as we tried to get the RIGHT person in the position.

The caregivers are . . . caring! The manager is responsive and, indeed, proactive, suggesting things that could be done to improve my friend's health, outlook, and comfort.

BRAVO to Home Instead Senior Care owner Karen S. and her expert team for the outstanding care they provided to my 100 year old mother-in-law upon returning home to her high rise apartment after a quick hospital stay. Living on her own and incredibly independent, we were highly impressed with Karen for many reasons but first because she was able to swiftly assess my mother-in-law's needs and offer excellent suggestions for a detailed caregiving plan. Karen's calming manner and presence eased any of our worries. Incredibly Karen and her fantastic Client Care Manager, Mary R., carefully matched just the right caregivers which was no easy task for a very tough minded independent 100 year old! One feels a very high level of dedication from Karen and her entire team and a concierge level of caregiving that is unique and unmatched. There was always too a friendly voice on the other side when we called the office day or night. We can't thank Karen and her team enough and recommend their services to everyone we know!! Forever grateful.

I've been so happy with the care and customer service that Home Instead provides. When first exploring the possibility of my 80-year old mother coming to live with me, I did some independent research and tagged Home Instead as a well-reviewed option. Later when it was actually time to lock in services, caring.com independently verified that Home Instead was a good match. I filled in an online survey and expected the need to follow up the follow week. To my delight and surprise, I received a follow-up call from the owner within an hour of posting the request for a consult! Karen was so proactive and accommodating to thoroughly answer all my questions. I readily signed on for services. When the time came to meet our case manager and care worker, I was nervous. My family had some prior bad experiences with another agency in another state, which included workers unexpectedly quitting multiple times or just not showing up. I'm happy to report I've had no such issues with Home Instead. From the start the team was very compassionate and considerate, and mom hit it off with her home care worker right away. I worked from home the first week to monitor the process. I was taking a call in the other room while my mom and her care worker were getting to know each other in another room. To my great delight I heard singing coming from the back of the house. They had instantly bonded over a common interest! The service has been very consistent and a very positive overall experience. Thumbs up for Home Instead!
