I am a past client of this provider
My husband is in the later stages of dementia. I am the primary caregiver for him 24/7. He cannot attend any day care facilities anymore. We are both 72 years old. Until I heard of this agency I was struggling by myself. Yet, I was aftraid of the big "H" - HOSPICE thinking that this year is his last. Not so, I learned. They can go beyond the believed 6 months care. Now I have help with showers and personal care three times a week. I have a case manager, grieft counselor, spiritual advisor and many more services as needed. And I am allowed 3-5 days respite as needed. These services do not stop at his death, they help during and after the grieving period. And best of all it is covered by Medicare. If I need equipment it is delivered that day or the next. They are only a telephone call away and I feel supported. This is huge burden lifted off of my shoulders.
