I am a past client of this provider
Hospice cared for my husband in 2007. After he passed away, I knew that I wanted to GIVE BACK. I researched the various Hospice groups in my area and decided to volunteer with Helping Hands & Hearts. I have been a Patient Volunteer and I also volunteer in the Thrift Store. In 2011, HH&H's provided care for my son who was terminally ill. These are the most caring, compassionate people I have ever been around. I would highly recommend HH&H's to anyone
As a professional in the area, I have often referred clients to Helping Hands and Hearts Hospice, which provides care for terminally ill patients living within Brazoria County, Texas.
This hospice is locally operated and is a non-profit. Staff consist of a medical director doctor, nurses, social workers, chaplain, bereavement specialists and volunteers. Staff is well-trained, professional & caring, with most staff living in the local area & real knowledge of area towns, places and help available. Staff is focused on helping patients through pain management & sympton control. Staff is also specialized in helping patients and families cope with difficult issues surrounding death and dieing, through support & counseling. Staff provides services on a regular basis and on a continuous basis during brief times of crisis.
Also, this hospice started a Thrift Shop, with all money going to help patients with no insurance or those in financial need. The Thrift Shop is totally dependent on the community for donations and is operated by volunteers.
Helping Hands and Hearts Hospice seems to provide good, professional & specialized services for local, terminally ill residents.
