Hospice of Huntington

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My partner's mother was a frequent patient at the Hospice of Huntington. When we would visit her she would always be sleeping. As though they didn't want to deal with her so they made sure that she more medicine then was really needed. The facility was nice and was not in bad shape. The staff seemed kind and very helpful to the family members but they just left the patients alone unless they were awake. When her mother would come home it would take a while for her to come out of her medicine "coma" and we were not happy. Each room was decorated very nicely, and the beds were very safe and her mother was comfortable in it. With the exception of her mother sleeping almost the entire time she was there we were very pleased with how she was treated at the Hospice of Huntington house and would most likely keep using it if we needed it.
