Hospice Services of Alabama

While the great reviews might have been appropriate in the past, I have not found their services up to par. We finally had to cancel with them. It was like pulling hair out to get one employee to communicate with another employee to get any results. Trying to get meds filled was sooo stressful. Only one person there seemed to really "care" about the patient and their family. They were not supposed to come to house before 8:00 am and appeared at 7:00 am to give her a bath. She wasn't even awake. When we canceled, three days later an employee called to make arrangements to come out for her visit. They had not told her we had canceled. Once again, lack of communication on their part.

When we needed someone they were there no matter what time it was day or night. It really helped calm my nerves about the whole experience knowing I had them there to support me at all times.
