At Hospice Associates, we believe that when a cure is no longer possible, patients deserve an end-of-life plan of care built on knowledge, compassion, and access to services designed to fit their specific needs. Our interdisciplinary team of highly experienced physicians, nurses, counselors, and other medical professionals are trained to provide physical, emotional social and spiritual support to patients and their families.
An appropriate end-of-life plan of care ensures that terminally ill patients will live with their symptoms under control, in comfort and dignity.
Covered under Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances, hospice care is provided primarily in the patient's place of residence, whether in the family home, nursing facility or assisted living environment. Short-term stays at a community-based inpatient hospice unit can also be arranged as the need arises.
