Only go here if you want to die
My 83 year-old father fell and broke his leg. He has congestive heart failure and takes several medications, which have kept him alive for more than 10 years. His doctors worked very hard to get his dosages correct and my father is very dilligent about taking them. After breaking his leg, he was sent to Stow-Glen for rehab, to live for possibly several weeks. To begin with, the food is absolutely inedible. Some of it even literally unrecognizable. Since he has been there, possibly 2 weeks, his health has been deteriorating, to the point where we're afraid for him. What we've found out is that they are messing with his medications and dosages and withholding some of the more important ones. He is not there for health issues so there is no reason to fix what's not broken.
