I visited this facility

Developmental Disabilities Institute is an assisted living provider for autistic adults. My aunt is autistic and lives in a residential home. I was invited to a summer party last year. It was very nice. The staff was courteous and inviting. They treated the individuals as if they were just good friends. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There was one incident with an individual but the staff calmly and professionally took care of the situation. The house was clean and my aunt and the rest of the individuals seemed very happy. They had fun playing games, but mostly enjoyed the copious amounts of food that the housekeeper had made from scratch. I got to see my aunts room which was neat and tidy. She loves movies. She probably owns thousands of them. They were even kept in alphabetical order which she says one of the staff helps her with regularly. Overall I would say DDI is a great place for my aunt to be staying.
