More trouble than they're worth

TLC was more trouble than it was worth. Appointments and scheduling were unreliable. Spent more time answering the telephone to reschedule or waiting because they were late. CNA's did a good job, except first one kept complaining about her working conditions. Then we were introduced to another after our mother was getting used to the first one. Nurses seemed arrogant, uninterested, and patronizing. OT was completely useless. Could not distinguish what her function was because all she wanted to do was "sign off" our mother. Must have been stressed out and overworked, because when we asked her any question her only answer was that wasn't her job. Didn't care for her assistant's hygiene. The only excellence was the PT. Her professionalism was obvious and her suggestions contributed to our mother's improvement. Our mother interacted well with her. I admired that she gave our mother 100% effort. Didn't get to know Speech therapist because by then we terminated business with them. Instead of making things smoother TLC just made things more bothersome and complicated and political. Encountered discrimination and gossip because I was a guy taking care of his mother.
