I am a past client of this provider

Last May 2015, I had Providence Home Health for wound care. Somebody came every day and did thorough wound care, but I did not like their care. I was not very happy because there was no continuity. They sent somebody different all the time, and it made me very anxious. I asked my doctor to give me some Xanax because I was terrified that they were going to do the wrong thing. I’m an old nurse, and they’re not nurses like I was, but they did OK the last time. My daughter was my advocate, and she made it very clear that we wanted continuity of care and the same person coming as much as possible because that helps me. I had the home health come two days a week to help me with my shower, physical therapy that came two days a week, and occupational therapy that’s still coming two days a week. This time, I give them four stars, but last year was two stars because I had a very terrible experience. The scheduling that is set up for the employees didn't have continuity. I think that when you’re sick or older, the confusion is made worse by having so many people coming and going into your home. There was poor communication between the staffing, and when somebody new would come in, you had to train them on what to do.

I am a past client of this provider

Providence Home Service was good, but my family memeber really needed hospice care. The people were very good. It took us three weeks to get scheduled, and I don’t think we received any bills. It was really a short-term relationship.
