Hope Hospice

Hope Hospice was founded in early 2003 by Pam North, RN and Rhonda Carter, RN who saw a need in the area for an organization that could provide not only comfort care for the terminally ill, but one which could also provide bereavement and follow-up care for the patients' families. Hope Hospice uses a holistic approach to care that provides comfort, peace, compassion, and dignity for our patients with incurable illnesses as well as their loved ones. We are Medicare/Medicaid certified and licensed through DHH, Department of Health and Hospitals.

Hope hospice is made up of a team of professionals that has a combined 60 years experience in the Hospice field. We are dedicated to comfort care at the end of life. Our team is made up of RN's, LPN's, social worker, bereavement counselor, chaplain, home health aides, volunteers, therapists, and two medical directors. Our nurses are on-call and available to make visits when needed, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide a variety of services to all people with complex needs related to transitions, loss, and end of life.

Hope Hospice serves Natchitoches and a 50-mile radius outside of Natchitoches. We offer hospice services wherever a patient calls home, whether the care is provided in a home setting, assisted living facility or nursing home. Many terminally ill patients are unable to be cared for at home and reside in nursing homes
