Gentiva Health Services

As a professional in the area, I have referred clients to Gentiva, which is an agency that provides in-home, medical, home health services to people living in the south Houston, Tx & surrounding area. This agency is part of a larger company that has been providing home health services for many years.

Gentiva is well established in the community and is known for their quality, well trained staff as well as their consistent, quality care to patients.

The clients I have referred have all been well satisified, referring to not only the quality care given but the coordination between everyone involved. One client said "I really like how everyone knows what is going on. I always feel like alot of heads are together making sure I get the best, and I do!"

Another of my clients stated: "They (staff) are so good, they really care. I know no matter what I can always call them & they will help me. I sleep a whole lot better."

And one of my clients I recently referred & is just starting with this agency told me: "I had so many questions but I wasn't sure I could ask her (admitting nurse) so I just didn't say anything. After we finished everything, she (nurse) left. Then, alittle later, the nurse called me. She said she could tell I had something on my mind & asked me if I wanted to talk.. That was so sweet of her!" I followed up with "Did ya'll get together & talk?" and she said: "Oh, yes, in alittle while, here she (nurse) came & we had a good talk, answered all my questions."

From my viewpoint, this agency not only provides quality care but "goes the extra mile" to ensure all the patient's needs are addressed.
