Interim Healthcare

I am a professional in the region and have referred clients to Interim Healthcare, which is a home health agency, providing in-home medical care to persons dealing with a health decline and working toward improvement & recovery. This agency serves persons in Corpus Christi, Tx & surrounding areas.

Most clients had positive comments about the agency's quality care and staff. However, several comments expressed concern that when they requested to talk with a Social Worker, were told agency did not have one available. For some clients, this was upsetting, as they wanted social services information & linkage with area resources to help them deal with all types of problems, other than just medical.

It seems this home health agency provides good in-home care to their patients but could improve by making available a Social Worker, with skilled social services experience, to address the person's total needs.
