My husband, 83, has mid-stage vascular dementia. After a recent arthroscopic surgery to relieve pain in his knee, this agency sent an evaluation professional and a physical therapist to the house to assess and help him get back on his feet, literally. They were terrific. When I explained the situation to them, they handled it professionally and effectively. The PT was able to help him do some exercises during the first two weeks following the surgery that enabled him to return to many of his former activities, including a twice-daily walk with our dog and his regular exercise (rehab) program at the hospital. They were cheerful, understanding, and very helpful. I'd call them again in a minute if I needed their help.
