I am a professional in the region and have informed clients about Amed Home Health, which is a home health agency, providing in-home medical care to persons living in Austin, Tx & surrounding areas.

Some clients had positive comments, such as staff was friendly, but most clients expressed negative comments, saying: "This has to be the worst staff I have ever seen, they don't show up alot of time & when they finally do, they don't do much (poor care). Don't use this group." Another client said: "I don't know what their (staff & management) problem is, they won't listen about complaints, they won't return phone calls & I haven't seen them correct anything."

It seems clear this agency has major care & communication issues, and until all problems are corrected, I would not recommend this home health agency.
