As a professional in the area, I have referred clients to IPH Hospice, which provides care for terminally ill patients in the Brazoria County, Tx area.

IPH Hospice has a full staff of a medical director, nurses, social workers, aides, chaplain, bereavement specialists and volunteers. The hospice staff nurse does the initial assessment and is involved throughout regarding care to the patient. Other staff are involved as needed or requested by the patient or family.

IPH Hospice does focus, with each patient, on comfort rather than curative treatment as well as emphasizing quality rather than quantity of life. This hospice provides medical care aimed at sympton relief & pain management. Also, the patient and family receive emotional and spiritual support to deal with the reality of death & dieing and to cope with unresolved issues & emotions. This hospice care is provided in the patient's home or homelike setting.

IPH Hospice seems to provide professional and specialized care to area terminally ill patients and their families.
