When my 95-year-old mother needed to move to a senior residence, A Dignified Life gave some invaluable advice. First, make sure that my mother was involved in all decision-making and second, that my two brothers, sister and I resolve any differences now so that we can alleviate any rivalries over decisions about her care or her estate. We now hold family conference calls on a regular basis and my mother knows that we are all looking out for her best interests.

A Dignified Life has been a tremendous help and a reliable resource to both me and my mother while life-planning and down-sizing. Barbara helps maintain an optimistic environment even during the most challenging of times. Her services have made my mother's life transition a smooth journey for everyone involved.

A Dignified Life was a great help to me when my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease two years ago. Because she was no longer able to care for herself, my family had to move my grandmother from her home in Florida to be closer to us in New York. Barbara Newman Mannix and A Dignified Life helped us to arrange the move, put the FL house on the market, research local long-term care and home care options, and wade through the endless legal and healthcare paperwork. We were able to get my grandmother’s needs met through home care with an aide; she is stable, happy, and living close to her loved ones.
