My Grandmother has lived at Tobey Jones for about two years now. I believe the whole facility has three separate buildings. Part is dedicated to independent seniors who live in their own apartments, and the rest is for people who need closer medical attention. My grandma has her own apartment with a kitchen, mainroom, bedroom, and bathroom, plus a outdoor balcony with a storage closet. She also has her own assigned parking space. She is very pleased with it and has no intention of moving anywhere else. She keeps active by attending art classes, participating in art shows, and attending concerts that are put on in the main building. The facility has a gym area with workout machines, and a cafe open for lunch with soups and sandwiches. I can't speak to the nightly food service, but I believe they have a dining room for those without a kitchen and she is free to eat there if she likes. Her apartment building has a lavish lobby sittingroom with a fireplace and a very friendly receptionist. The lawns and walkways are very clean and well-manicured with bushes and other plants. I have always felt comfortable visiting her there.
