I just moved into The Watermark at Broadway Cityview. I love my apartment. I have a full-sized kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a bedroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the evening meal and I had breakfast today, and they taste good. The dining area is nice and clean.

We went to The Watermark at Broadway Cityview. They have washers and dryers in the apartments. They have a year round pool, instead of a seasonal one. The Watermark is being refurbished right now, so it's difficult to see everything. I found them very personable. We're going back tomorrow, so we'll have more of an idea what they offered. The apartments were fine. We're looking into probably a two-bedroom apartment. We'll have one bedroom and one office. There was a washer dryer, a steel refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a garbage disposal. The staff was the moving coordinator, and she didn't exactly understand what she was doing.

My parents were at The Watermark at Broadway Cityview. We looked at their assisted living, and it was small, outdated, depressing, and it's really expensive, so it was a nonstarter. Their independent living side, I think, will be very nice once the renovations are completed. The footprint of the apartments is very nice and large. When my mom and dad moved in almost four years ago, it was a beautiful home, but it no longer is for them, that's why they needed to move. I would not recommend them right now. I would say, wait, let them get the renovations done, and then reevaluate. My parents were there in the independent living. There was a lot of deferred maintenance. The overall maintenance and upkeep of the place are lacking, which is why they're doing this major renovation. The food was awful. It was really bad. They have caregivers on staff, and those caregivers are the most amazing people on Earth. They truly are gems. They're fantastic individuals. They're great. The administrative staff was so-so. The caregivers are amazing, but the administrative staff is undergoing significant turnover. The two people I've met who are new have been good. But there's just a lot of people there that were very apathetic that had to leave. They have lots of activities. They have a pool, an in-house rehab, movies, and a church. My parents didn't engage with any of them, that's just not their style, but holistically, they had lots of activities.

Fixing overcharges and billing discrepancies is purposefully made extraordinarily difficult by nonresponsive business staff who refuse to answer the telephone, return messages, and reply to emails.

My husband was a patient during Covid restrictions. Was not able to see him - however had to meet him for a doctor's appointment. His nails were 2 inches long, filled with dirt, his beard had not been trimmed and he was dressed in dirty clothes. The doc and office staff wanted me to report his condition to the State. I am an RN and the nursing care was terrible - when I asked about his nails - was told by nursing staff 'we don't do nail care'. Needless to say I requested his immediate discharge brought him home only to have him pass away 30 hours later. This facility has owed me a refund of $2300 for 8 months - they don't respond to letters, emails or calls. Please if you care about your loved one -do NOT select this facility.

I liked this community. The people are friendly, there are things to do, and the food is good. I like my apartment. We have activities, meals, weekly housekeeping, and trash pickups on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's a gated community and there's somebody on duty most of the time.
