Wesley Homes Des Moines

My experience is quite positive as most if not all of the staff communicates well with my wife and has shown nothing but complete courtesy to me and my son. From the time she started 2 years ago to the present I enjoy taking my son to pick her up as the residents enjoy talking with him and making them smile. The staff enjoy his laughter and him sharing his Lego creations as well as his funny dance moves. From what I have heard the residents share their opinions on how well the facility treats them and makes them feel at home. With this said their experience at Wesley homes is positive and they have stated that they would like to extend the information of the facility to their friends and family. Overall my complete experience with how the facility is run and how well my wife has been treated I would attempt to have people that I know either work there or live there.

Wesley Homes is a quality assisted living facility that ranges from people with constant needs to those that can no longer live in their former home. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. Food services are available for residents and can make meals according to dietary requirements. The environment is very friendly and does not feel like an assisted living center. The only downside, like many other resident homes, is that the living routine can become monotonous. The staff tries to combat this by creating events for residents to travel to or take part in on campus. All in all, Wesley Homes is the environment that residents will want to retire to and the atmosphere to make them want to stay.
