I visited this facility

This is a CCRC (continuing care retirement community--everything from independent living to hospice) that also offers memory care. It's in an excellent location, overlooking White Rock Lake, with easy access to shops and restaurants and good parking.

It looks like a college campus--beautiful. And the assisted living facility is brand new, offering both private and shared rooms.

The quality of the staff, though, has been up and down. It's only as good as the current director of nursing, and that position seems to change often.

There's a wide variety of food choices, but it all tends to be bland. They have a good activities program, though, with a wide variety of activities.
