The Legacy Campus

As a professional in the area, I have referred clients to The Legacy Campus, which is a continuum of care retirement community.

PROS: One important feature of this community is it offers a variety of services: independent-living, assisted-living, alzheimer's care, short/long term rehabilitation and long term care (nursing home).

In addition, a major plus - with each of these types of services, it seems quality & caring are present as the resident's needs are addressed. I have had several families of my clients tell me how pleased they were with the personalized care plan developed and carried out, to not only meet their loved ones physical needs but to meet their emotional needs, keeping them feeling better & happier. As one daughter told me "No matter when I visit, Mom always seems so happy!"

In all the types of services, appropriate supportive & care services are provided along with a full array of activities for resident's to enjoy. Also, as I watched staff work, it was clear that they are attentive, interact with the senior in a caring, respectful manner and get involved, knowing most of the resident's likes & dislikes.

CONS:
Since this retirement community is known for total quality care, they stay full most of the time, so you may have to be on a waiting list for awhile.

OVERALL: The Legacy Campus provides comprehensive types of service, in varying living-type settings, with outstanding quality & caring, to seniors in need.
