I am a friend or relative of a resident

I have been visiting Homes of Runnemede for many years and it has made many changes and improvements over the years. About 20 years ago, the facility had only one building with maybe 25 residents. Recently however they had some property donated by the Evarts family, and their residency doubled. The facility now has 4 buildings in which they are able to provide various levels of care to its residents. Outside there is now a large lawn and a gazebo for the residents to use. I know many of the residents, as my mother runs the kitchen, and the meals on wheels program. Every time I have visited, the residents are generally happy. In over 100 visits over the years varying from 10 min to 3 hours, I have never witnessed and incident where a resident was ignored or abused. All in all I have to say that Homes of Runnemede is a well run facility, with dedicated long term employees, and well cared for properties. The only negatives I have noticed is the lack of funding from government and private sources. Although they do get some government money, It is not always enough, and the kitchen suffers especially by being understaffed. Periodically private money does come in and temporary extra help can be hired. The dedication of the long term workers, however, has always managed to overcome many difficulties.
