The Waterford at Virginia Beach and we got the opportunity to speak with the individuals and they were very nice. Susan came and we introduced ourselves. We were looking for an evaluation and assessment of what my husband needs and they gave us a tour. They had all the accommodations, dining room, and movie. We went to the room that my husband would possibly have been in. It was nice, he had a balcony and even a patio. The place is clean and it was enough for him to be able to get in there with a wheelchair. The staff is knowledgeable.

My mother has moved into The Waterford at Virginia Beach. The community is nice. Everybody's friendly, and the staff made the transition here very easy. Everything has been smooth. She said the food tastes OK. They do a lot of stuff in the community. They have a library, a reading room, a movie room, and a nice cafeteria and they get waited on and they have choices on the menu. The value is great, but I think it's really expensive. It's an awesome place if you can afford it.

I like the price at The Waterford at Virginia Beach. The staff followed up, and I liked the follow-up and checking back. It was very nice and everything. However, the staff wasn't as interactive as all the others. She told you what they had, and that was it. She wasn't as personable as the others. She was nice, but it was just, 'This is what we have. Take it or leave it' type thing. She wasn't the marketing salesperson type of person. She was just a matter-of-fact type of person. The apartment was okay. We only saw a model because they didn't have an opening, but it looked nice. The place was okay, but it wasn't outstanding.

We had a good tour experience at The Waterford at Virginia Beach. The staff was able to answer all our questions. They were considerate and helpful. The facilities were good, but they did not have the amenities that the other places had. We would have to bring our own shower seat and other furniture. I saw the dining area, and it was nice. There were some residents playing cards in the common area while we were there.

We toured The Waterford at Virginia Beach. We only got to talk with the salesperson and the activities director, but they did a phenomenal job. The salesperson spent a lot of time with us. The facility itself was fantastic. They had different room sizes. They had individual rooms, and they also had rooms if you wanted to have a roommate. Of course, the roommate one would be cheaper. They had rooms that had a door to a courtyard so that people could just go right out into the courtyard without having to go out in the hallway. The upkeep of the facility was good. The dining area was large, and they had a lot of residents going in and out at different times of the day. It was almost like a small restaurant-type dining area. The grounds were gorgeous and well-maintained. I saw a couple of different courtyards because I got to see the courtyard for the memory care side, too. They had a library, too. It was a very nice facility.

I went to The Waterford at Virginia Beach. The residents looked happy. It was clean. I thought it was very nice. The staff member was very nice. She didn't rush me over time. She answered my questions. The rooms seemed nice. The facility looked well kept. The dining area looked nice, too. I believe they had a salon.
