I visited this facility

This facility is a 30 acre ranch set in the tall pines. The surrounding grounds and mountain views are beautiful. The four buildings are well maintained and currently they are doing new renovations. The proprty backs up to the National Forest so there is lots of wildlife as elk and deer. They also have a beautiful small lake.They have been here 5 years.

Each building has 10 residents. They have one independent with individual studio apartments and partial kitchens. These are now on a call system for assistance. Two buildings are assisted with private and semi private rooms and one memory care. The ratio of caregivers is 1 to 4 days and pms and 1 to 7 at night. This is not including the owners who live on site. They are planning on instituting a new alert system with life alert as well.

They are licensed for 30 residents and currently have 23. They do all three levels of care including hospice.

The buildings all have front porches and patios. Two buildings share a common courtyard. There are lots of walking and hiking areas. Each building has a common living area, great room, and dining room. They serve three meals and snacks a day. All is home cooking with lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade soups and chili. All food is made from scratch.

They have a nurse and doctor on call and come in. All caregivers are certified. They transport to doctor appointments. The staff is very loving and caring.

They currently are hiring a new activity directer who is setting up lots of in house activities as an exercise program, one on one activities, live entertainment, bingo and other games. They do movies and lots of bbqs and parties. They go out to restaurants. shopping, and sight seeing.

This is a really peaceful and homey place.
