All staff was excellent! Great caring people. Had bilateral knee replacement surgery. PT and OT staff was terrific. Was able to receive therapy 2 to 3 sessions a day including weekends. Was in house for 6 days. The rehab staff took me to my house and did a home assessment which helped me prepare for returning home safely. I practiced stairs, getting up from the toilet, bed and getting in and out of the house. The therapy gym has a kitchen to practice cooking, reaching in cabinets and loading dishwasher. The care staff and nursing staff were very pleasant, caring and responsive. All listened to what I had to say and responded accordingly. The room was spacious and it at had a wider door to accommodate my husband who visits me in a scooter. Food was on time and warm. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility.

We had an awful experience with Manor Care Salmon Creek that just got worse. My 88 year old mother in law was at this facility in February of 2017. We had a very hard time reaching anyone by phone who could give us info or updates they whole time she was there. Please be careful of them telling you everything is covered. We feel like they stretched out her stay as long as her insurance coverage held out and after being told everything is covered we now have a surprise bill to pay. (Our bad for not recording the persons name who gave us this info months ago.) According to their admins. I should be happy that they are willing to cut her portion of the bill in half. Sorry. Not going to sign a paper giving up my rights just to cut an unjust bill in half. They even tried to guilt me into saying they needed to keep their doors open and the lights on. Despicable tactics.

I was very disappointed in the care my Uncle received 3/4/17-3/16/17, while at Manor Care. We were greeted by a CNA who put him into bed. I tried to pass on as much information as possible like my uncle was a little confused, impulsive, unable to transfer or walk by self. First visit found him laying sideways with legs dangling, second visit in bed with PJ"s on with a plate of food in front of him at 2pm. Thank God a speech therapist came in discovered he wasn't swallowing very well needed supervision and moved to dining room for meals. March 9 got a call my uncle fell out of bed. He wasn't hurt. Discussed with charge nurse - he doesn't understand pushing the button. I am sorry but after 5 days they should of had a complete assessment done and discovered this on their own. They would not allow us to buy and bring in alarms. At one point my cousin told he could not walk Dad. One of the final straws was he was not bathed in 10 days. The last straw was when I went to pick him up for a prearranged appointment - he wasn't in the room, I went and gathered him and ask for help changing him and was told to put on the light someone would come. I hope this review helps Manor Care improve the care they provide to every individual that is is entrusted to their care, Place was clean,.

The staff at ManorCare Health Services was good. I had a private room that was very good, very clean, and big. It had nice facilities like physical therapy and lots of rooms where you can just relax or play games, but the food could be better. It had a fairly good variety of food, but they didn't want to make it too salty.

At one time my wife needed to go to rehabilitation, but she’s a bit better now. She has emphysema pretty bad, and she had gotten pneumonia on top of that so she was in the hospital for two weeks. After her hospital stay, she had short term care and rehab at ManorCare- Salmon Creek. She had physical therapy there until she was ready to come home. I thought she had good care there and everything. They were very nice. A lot of the staff was just young girls with kind of a minimal education, but they had qualified people there too. They were pretty attentive to her. It was a very nice, very clean, and a fairly new facility. We looked at another place too, but this was far superior to the other place. They aren’t perfect, but they are really good. I would recommend it. She enjoyed her stay there and thought it was pretty good.

Manor Care is the second assisted living facility my grandmother has been in, and my family is much happier with the care she is receiving there compared to our previous experience. The staff is very kind. When I needed to put some food in a refrigerator while I visited, the staff members were very welcoming and allowed me to use their break room refrigerator. They respect the privacy and hardship that comes along with moving into an assisted living facility. They also put on great events for the residents and their families - movies, musical performances, bingo nights, etc. The facility itself is very clean and the grounds are kept up nicely. The location is very quiet and out of the way. It is also located a few blocks away from a hospital and medical clinic, which is convenient. I should mention that some laundry was lost at one point. I understand that mistakes and those kinds of things can happen, however, and overall have been very satisfied.
