The people at Sierra Del Sol seem to be very friendly. The accommodations were very small, which was the biggest turn-off for us. The staff showed us a '2-bedroom' (which had been a 1-bedroom) and a studio that was married together to make one unit. It was so small. I like the location. I like the staff, but the rooms were just way too small. It appears to be well maintained. The couple of people that I talked to seemed to be very happy. I wouldn't have a problem moving there if the room was larger. Other than the fact that the rooms were too small, everything we saw was excellent.

Sierra Del Sol Senior Living seemed to have a lot of activities and the people were happy and active. They were working on puzzles and doing different things. The staff was pretty good and helpful. Everything was good, including the rooms. They had a television there.

Wow! What a great community! I wish I was old enough to move in! I am so pleased that I found a place for my mom to move that puts my mind at ease. I recently toured Sierra del Sol (and am going to move my mom in) and I was blown away with the hospitality and services offered here. While on my tour not only did staff members take time to introduce themselves but so did the manager. That really says a lot to me. I’ve been touring several places and nothing quite felt like home for mom until we came here. My mom is a picky eater and she loved the menu and can’t wait to start dining here. The rooms are so spacious and perfectly sized for my moms needs. Since she’s gotten older it’s been harder for her to move around and her room and the entire building accommodates for this very well. My mom has always been a social butterfly but with age and less mobility has had less opportunity to socialize. It makes my heart so happy to know that my mom will be able to attend events and socialize with people her own age once again. I am so excited to hear all about all the activities my mom gets to experience thanks to Sierra del Sol! I am just so happy and thankful we found this place! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a family member they care about or for themselves. Seriously, this place has so much to offer!

During my last visit, I was impressed with how much they offer! The leisure areas and activities available to the residents were inclusive and hands-on. They had a visiting area with a beautiful grand piano. I love music and I am really happy to know that is available to the residents.

My mother was a resident at this place for 2 months in assisted living. Generally she was well received and well treated until she had to make an emergency room visit and eventually hospice. It was after this that it became evident that three of her most valuable heirloom's became missing. In her will, she had planned to hand these down to her heirs. One of them was a 100-year-old engagement ring that her father gave her mother. The others included a wedding set and cocktail ring. All together of which most likely valued over 25K, but were priceless to family as they were seen on her hand throughout our lifetime. Shameful, that while she was suffering and dying - someone was violating her and her heirs. How heartbreaking that someone could be so heartless. Director was protective of her staff and claimed that no one knew of her heirlooms that were seen on her hand every day. Shame to this facility! A police report was filed, but to no avail so far almost a year and a half later

My mom moved into Sierra Del Sol four weeks ago. Sierra Del Sol is comparable to most other places that I looked into. It’s very pleasant and handicapped accessible. I believe they do repaint and re-floor every time someone moves in. Showers are all easily accessible with lots of handrails. They have nice closets in her a small one-bedroom. They have an alert button that they wear around their necks, and if they need help wheeling to and from, someone will come and help. I’ve talked to them quite often, and they’re all very helpful and very nice. It seems like if my mom has a problem or needs something, they’ll make sure that she gets the care. They have been very helpful with just about any problem we have had. However, it seems like they need a bit more help. They seem to be short on help, especially on the weekend.
