I remember coming down Wilbraham Road on my way to Reeds Landing. Because of the neighborhood, I thought Reeds Landing was going to be a low-quality location, but after coming on to the grounds of the facility, I was surprised to find such a beautiful location. The first positive experience I had there was that there seemed to be medical professionals everywhere I went. Which was a relief to me. I encountered nurses in every location they showed me. One of my negative experiences was in the dining hall. It seemed like nobody was paying attention to the elderly people there, and I even noticed a waitress being very rude to an elderly lady. The waitresses looked overworked and not happy to be there. I liked that they had lots of things to do. They had a gym, a library, places for people to go and even a bank there! Also Reeds Landing looked really fancy and expensive but compared to other assisted living places in the area, it was relatively cheap.

I was very impressed with this place. The building has a contemporary design. This facility is near a lake. I saw different types of accommodations. The studio type apartment is not very huge, but it's still nice and they have a lot of vacant ones. During our visit, they even offered us some food but I wasn't able to try because I was scheduled to tour other similar facilities. I noticed that this place has a library. One of the many activities they offer is exercise. The staff was polite, kind, and they gave us plenty of time to ask questions. I will recommend this place to others.

My Grandmother seems to get good care at Reeds Landing. She loves living there and rarely complains about the facilities or staff. The staff is very knowledgeable as well as capable. As with every establishment, there are a few bad apples, but most of them do seem to be very courteous. The building is well built and furnished quite spectacularly. It has many amenities including: a dining room, housekeeping, health screens, and many social activities. Some of these activities include a fitness program, holiday programs, arts & crafts, and BINGO. Every Friday my grandmother goes to BINGO and has a wonderful time! The actual building is located in a very quiet, safe, residential area of Springfield, which is very important to me. The location is very convenient for me because I live in Chicopee. I've slept over a few times and never felt unsafe and it's has never been extremely loud or dirty. I'm glad that my parents convinced my grandmother to choose Reeds Landing because she loves it and so do I.
