I am a friend or relative of a resident
The facility was very nice, but I found the atmosphere very sad and dull. My grandpa had to stay there for some time because he had gotten surgery and my grandma could not take care of him. I saw the food that he got to eat for lunch and it just looked and smelled really really bad. Also, the whole place is so gray and dull, the walls are white, the carpeting in gray, there are no posters anywhere, I don't know why anyone would want to stay there. Pets are not allowed, and I thought that that was so sad because my grandpa loves his cats and he was not even able to see them. When I went to visit, they had to check who we were and it took forever to make the nurses accept us into the facility. They were really really slow and no at all active. the room he stayed in was nice, the bed looked comfortable, and it had one chair in it, so my grandma could sit down when she went to visit him. his room also had a nice tv propped on the wall, so he could watch his favourite shows.
