Freedom Inn at Scottsdale

Freedom Inn at Scottsdale is a fabulous facility, it is gorgeous inside and out and the interior is very bright and cheerful. The staff always go out of their way to make visitors and family members feel comfortable and welcome. The activity calendar at this facility is one of the best I have seen, they offer residents such a wide range of activities and they always make sure that there is something for everyone. I always see the staff asking the residents what they think of the activities and events that are scheduled and they schedule activities based on the feedback they receive from the residents. One female resident told me that before she moved to Freedom Inn at Scottsdale she was living in another facility where the activities were pretty much carved in stone and it didn't seem to matter if the residents didn't like or participate in any of the activities, because the schedule remained the same week in and week out. She said that since Freedom Inn became her home, she has participated in so many different activities and that her life there is quite eventful and full of things to do. She told me that her favorite activity of all is the comedy club that is seen quite frequently on the activity schedule, mainly because it is such a big hit among the residents. She said she and her husband used to go to comedy clubs every other weekend and she never thought she would see an assisted living facility offer comedy as an activity but that she is absolutely grateful that they do. I have personally visited the facility when the comedy club was taking place and I have to say that the material was actually quite funny. I only listened for a few minutes, but it was so wonderful to hear the residents laughing and to see them having such a wonderful time. I really love visiting Freedom Inn at Scottsdale and would recommend it to those who are in search of an assisted living facility for your loved ones. I encourage you to stop by the facility and get a copy of the current month's activity schedule so that you can get an idea of all of the wonderful options available. Freedom Inn at Scottsdale is absolutely worth the trip and certainly worth your time.

I visited this facility

Freedom Inn at North Scottsdale in one of the assisted living home we visited while looking for one of my relatives. The place is bright with bright sunlight coming through the rooms. The bathrooms were clean with hygiene floor mats. The receptionist and the housekeepers were relatively more poilite and seemed to be caring. The same organization holds a specialized home for alzhiemer(claire bridge). We were told that doctors visit the home regularly every week and conduct general check up on the inmates as part of the package itself. The dining hall was spacious, the place had lot of people involved in social activities. The general mood of the people was cheerful and encouraging. We did not furte consider this place mainly because of distance reasons.
