Woods of Savannah

Woods of Savannah, what a delightful place there is something very special about this place. There is a since of Home when you walk into the door. The staff and residents were warm, loving toward each other and engaging. The residents were as if they were at a club meeting. They were active and seem to be fully present in their lives. The grounds are very nice and beautifully landscaped and lots of places to sit and be in a quiet zone or places where you can have a game of Bridge or Bid Wisk...There was a group playing. I see a lot of painting in my work and there is some real artist in this facility. I heard one resident singing and asked who that was and was told a former Opera singer with the Metropolitan in NYC. She still sounded amazing she was preparing to perform for an event. The facility has a great activities calendar and makes sure the residents are happy and fully engaged. This facility is clean and well run. There seems to be nothing forgotten in the running of this place. I recommend this place highly.....

The place is spotless! The staff are friendly and caring. They are responsive to a residents needs. They plan special meals for Holidays. They invite speakers to talk about Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and other subjects. The grounds are beautiful. I don't live there but would be happy to live there if the need arises.
