Rubin & Thompson Assisted Living

The Rubin & Thompson Assisted Living in Saugus, Massachusetts, was established in 2004 to offer Alzheimer's care and provide a viable alternative to a large nursing home or assisted living facility. One of the main focuses of the Rubin & Thompson Assisted Living was to create a facility in a real home environment occupied by the owner and his family, as opposed to building a large facility and attempting to create the illusion of a home setting.

Constructing a limited amount of units and only allowing a limited amount of residents makes for a smaller, close-knit family community where family and friends can become better acquainted with the fellow residents and family members. The assisted living community also offers respite care and short-term care.

The Rubin & Thompson Assisted Living is designed to meet the specific needs of the individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
