The facility is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. Do NOT apply here if your family has mental health issues. After taking our money, scheduling a move in, and buying furniture my father was denied because "we aren't equipped to deal with mental health issues." For the record, he has depression. My frustration is the stringing along. Now we have 2 days to find another facility for a loved one. We hid nothing during the application process. Very misleading.

We have half of a duplex in Wesley Palms. It's about 1100 square feet, which is just very pleasant. We are happy with our neighbors. We enjoy quite a few people in the community. We are just appalled at the price of what it costs us to live here, and we find the food difficult to deal with because it isn't very good many times. I think the facilities are really quite excellent. They are kept very well, by and large. There are 32 acres of grounds, and they are very lovely. There are a lot of activities one can partake in. We only do that occasionally, as there are many things that we're not very interested in doing. The place is very safe. The staff is very kind and very pleasant. We have absolutely no complaints about the staff.

Wesley Palms was very nice. The rooms were OK. They had a swimming pool, library, putting green, and a movie theater. The person I met was nice.

Wesley Palms San Diego Retirement Community was nice, but they didn't have anything available. They had a mile track around the property, which my father likes. But if he needed more assisted living, he'll have to move to another building. Everybody was nice and very welcoming there. My father likes this community, and the staff was really nice. They also have happy hours for the residents, and I like that they do a lot of activities together with its sister community under Front Porch Communities. The meals looked good and all three meals are included, which is a good selling point. It's a little more modern than its sister community that we also visited. They have a very pretty view where they're at, you see all of downtown, including the airport and the ocean. The one selling point is that they have the medallion you keep on your person, and if something's wrong you can push it to activate 911.

Wesley Palms was a very nice place and the tour was good and thorough. We saw common rooms and one resident's room, which was a brand new and standalone duplex; it was very nice. There was a nice cafeteria, a library, an auditorium where movies could be presented, and a putting green. There was also a 24/7 nure on staff. The facility is an older building, but it looks like it's well-maintained and it's nice. The common areas look like they have been modernized and well-kept.

Wesley Palms was too expensive. I saw a studio, and a 1- and 2-bedroom apartment. They're not spacious, but they're adequate. They had pretty much everything you could ask for. They have Bridge, movies, painting classes, exercises, and walks. At Pacific Beach, the properties are more expensive and a lot of them had views of the ocean, so you pay more for that. They offer three meals a day. The staff was very lovely, very helpful, and very pleasant. They have a library, a computer room, and an exercise room. The one meal we were invited to was nice.
