The Residence at Twain

I visited this facility

We happened to be in the an Diego region and stopped in to visit the Residence at Twain assisted living facility as a possible option for our aunt.

The landscaping was really nice and the building was well-maintained. The interior and foyer design seemed easy to navigate and each room had beautiful views. There was plenty of fresh air and light throughout.

The staff takes residents on many trips from nature walks and cultural events, to fine dining. They can accommodate all levels of ambulation.

The residents enjoy physical activity as much as possible, a lot of which takes place outdoors. They also offer outdoor yoga and aerobics classes.

The weather is so mild in San Diego, that residents enjoy daily walks around the grounds any time they like.

The communal rooms were pleasant and well designed for many kinds of social activities. The dining rooms offered great food that looked and smelled appetizing.

The menus all included many interesting food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, and whenever desired.

Private rooms all had safety features and comfortable furniture, with nice color schemes. Each appeared to be personalized according to tastes and had plenty of fresh air and natural light.

The residents all appeared to really enjoy their living environment, with kind, caring and attentive staff.
