I like everything at Raincross at Riverside. I liked that it was very clean. I know what it's like working with patients who have memory issues, and it's hard to keep them clean. But the facility was super clean. They tried to kind of keep them engaged in activities. All the staff were very friendly. I like it. The facility itself was nice. I think that they also make an effort to provide good and tasty foods that the patients like a lot. Everything about the facility was really good. They offered me some of the food that they provided. It was a very good tour because they gave me the opportunity to do that. The staff who gave me the tour was pleasant. The dining area was very nice. It was very good. The flavor of the food was good; I liked it. And the presentation of the food was very attractive as well.

Raincross at Riverside was nice, but it was smaller. There's this one big circular area on the assisted living side. The rooms were really small, but they were single rooms. We were just looking at a studio. The staff during the tour was very nice. They had children from a nearby school come in which I thought was nice. They come in once a month and do an activity with the seniors. Other than that, we didn't see much activity going on. I think they're just finishing up lunch.

My mother and I visited many different facilities before deciding on Raincross. Raincross has impressed me for many reasons. The place is clean, safe and the staff is very friendly. The staff knows my mother well and I can count on Raincross to take care of her medications as well as her physical and emotional needs. The residents have the option of participating in many activities and my mother always enjoys the meals! I feel reassured to know that my mother is well taken care of at Raincross.

My wife has found a place she liked that her friends recommended. It's Raincross at Riverside in downtown Riverside. She's been there for 3 months now and she's in their assisted living. I have no great fondness for it but I'm okay with it. It's just a two-story complex with patios and gardens. They have a variety of activities but she is very limited in her mobility so she does not attend. She has to be in a wheelchair all the time because she's not able to walk. The food is not to my liking but she tried and liked it. The staff, including her caretakers, are friendly. It's quite clean and well-kept too.

Raincross at Riverside was more downtown. It's a centralized place, so it would be a better location if you're in the area. The location itself makes it very cramped. There's no good parking. I just felt like there was a lot of traffic because it's in front of a bunch of other little individual homes where people are going back and forth in their cars. It's in a very small area and it's right off a main street. For some people, that would be the perfect thing that they would want, but it just didn't meet our needs. They had good amenities and the restaurant was still closed from COVID for some reason. The other restaurant was operating though. We actually went in when things had lightened up. We were still wearing our masks and everything, but it seemed still very closed down. We weren't able to visit a lot of places because they were kind of closed from COVID, but the rooms were fine and they were nice. I think it's only two stories, and the other place that we viewed that I liked so much had three or four stories, and so every balcony had a beautiful view of mountains. Whereas in Raincross at Riverside, you didn't really have much of a view, but they've got a lot of trees, and it was still pretty. What I also noticed when we were up on the second floor was there were a lot of portable air conditioning units outside the doors, and I thought that sounded like maybe the air conditioning didn't work as well, but their security was probably a lot stiffer than the other one because they had it all on computers and everything.

So far, my father is enjoying it there at Raincross at Riverside. The staff and people have been pretty good, he seems to like everybody there, and he has no complaints. His room looks smaller than the place where he was living before, but they were able to set things in order, so he was able to fit his things in there. He's comfortable, he likes the food, and he likes the people. He does want to play bingo for money and not for chocolates, but other than that he's comfortable. They don't have that many activities, and that's one thing that could be improved. But they have outings two-to-three times a week where they will go to different stores and shopping centers. The price is pretty good.
