Sherwood Oaks

This is a Senior Assisted Living facility that catered to seniors who need a little extra care and help. The staff was amazing and it shows they go above and beyond. The facility is beautifully decorated and you know you’re in a Home and not a cold facility. The dining room is the hub of activity for dining as well as activities and games. The food appeared to be very good and great care has been placed on Nutrition and healthy choices. The residents were happy, alert, and clean. My husband and I helped my grandmother move into this facility over a year ago. She lived alone and we were worried about her, so she chose to move here. I was pleasantly surprised by the facility. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and they seemed to want to be involved in the residents lives and activities. My grandmother loves her living quarters, and likes that she has the freedom to do a lot of activies, but also has medical care and help with daily living if needed.The grounds have lots to do, so my grandmother is never complaining about being bored. There's swimming, jacuzzi, walking trails, fitness facilities, yoga classes, and more. She is more active here than she was at home! Overall we are very pleased with the facility. When I get older, I would probably look into this myself if I needed it.

My husband and I helped my ailing father move into this facility after taking a tour of several other facilities in the area. What prompted us to choose this facility was all the unique amenities it offered as well as how warm and friendly the staff were.

At first, I was worried that he would be lonely or not have anything to do but, every time I visit him, he is always involved in some activity. He loves their Yoga and exercise classes and he spends a lot of time in their pool.

The facility is always very clean and well maintained when I visit and the staff actually seems interested in interacting with their guests and residents. This is the type of facility I want to be in when I need assisted living.
