The Baptist Homes Nursing Center is located in the South Hills region of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The facility and staff were great to my grandmother who spent the last two years of her life here. The inside feels more like a hospital environment compared to some more expensive options in the region that provide almost apartment like facilities, but for a more reasonable price, the Baptist Homes Nursing Center is a great option. Though my grandma's health deteriorated over the two years she spent here, she was always attended to and we never received any complaints from her as far as treatment. Various holidays were observed and residents were provided with community-like atmosphere where they could take part in special meals or religious groups. For visiting family, the parking lot is large and there is also very close access to bus lines and Pittsburgh's light rail T system.
