Whispering Knoll

I toured Whispering Knolls in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Whispering Knolls is an assisted living community. The apartments had studio and 1 bedroom options. I thought that the studio option was small, but very clean and well maintained. The 1 bedroom floor plan was average in size. The common areas were small but clean and cheery. There is also a barber/beauty shop. There are also group and activity rooms. I liked the dining room, but I really felt comfortable in the bistro. I liked the décor and the small tables to give a sense of intimacy. The best part of the tour was observing the staff and their level of concern and compassion for their residents. I found this facility to rate as above average.

The facility is very nice. There is a lot of room for interaction both for the residents among themselves and with family members that come to visit. The staff is very friendly and cares deeply for the residents there. It is a very welcoming environment. At times, the facility isn't as clean in places as I would like with a family member living there, however, mostly it is more than acceptable. The residents there seem to be happy and well taken care of. They receive a good amount of one on one care from individuals who are devoted to good health and quality of life for our family members.
