I visited this facility

I visited Heritage At Liberty Court in Philadelphia to see if it was suitable for my elderly Dad. We toured the common areas and were shown three types of rooms with the different cost levels. The common areas were pleasant and above all clean and looked well maintained which I wanted to see; they weren't run down. The location is really good as you can walk to local stores and shops and Broad St were a lot of Philly's street life is. Parking, as always in Philly, a bit of difficulty. The residents ranged from fairly "young elderly" to quite old and the full range of mobility up to having to use a walker or wheelchair.I also got a chance to look at some of the food served in the dining room, which looked well prepared and that took care of another concern we had, as Dad is very picky about food. The Dining room was clean and well organized; actually rather peaceful and quiet given the number of people in the building. The staff member that showed us around was not pushy and I didn't receive a lot of hounding phone calls afterwards which was relief.
