I visited this facility

It was a weekend that I visited The Manor. I helped the band set up. Slowly personnel brought residents into the dining room, where the concert was being held. As I have worked in other nursing homes as an LPN, I realized the time it took to bring the residents in was due to the residents having ADLs following their breakfast. Employees really didn't communicate with the residents nor the band. The residents were left with us; there were no personnel in the dining room with the residents, who were in varying states of ability. I realize that residents are left like this in other Homes, and don't approve of the practice, no matter how short-staffed the facility is. I assisted a couple of mildly confused residents who attempted to leave their alarmed chairs. The band continued, and the residents seemed to enjoy the music - many clapped along. None of the staff even peaked their heads in to see how their residents were faring. I went to the nursing desk to tell Staff that the concert was over, and should the residents come back out? They said no, that they'd be staying in the dining room for lunch. It appeared to me that the residents wouldn't be checked for comfort needs. Again, this seems to be practice at the nursing homes I have worked in and visited. Staffing levels, especially on weekends, aren't adequate, even when they meet Standards.
