While in the area, we stopped in to see Winnifred Assisted Living Facility while searching for a place for my friend's mother to live. The vibe of the neighborhood was very peaceful and safe.

The grounds around the main door were nicely kept, with flower beds and nicely manicured grass. The interior was inviting and we could smell fresh flowers. The overall décor was quite nice and fresh.

The space was clean and well tended. This facility is much smaller than most of the others we've visited. The seniors we saw looked like they were well cared for and content.

They offer a variety of activities for the seniors to enjoy, from games to reading, TV, films and crafts. They also go on interesting outings in and around the community such as nature walks, visiting art fairs and other festivals, enjoying casual dining and seeing films.

The food choices looked nutritious and delicious, as well as the regular snacks - offered continually. The dining area was homey, with comfortable furniture in a communal setting.

Overall, a very nice, well tended assisted living environment, with friendly and courteous staff. For those looking for a better staff to resident ratio, this would be an ideal situation.
