Wellsprings is in a great Ontario location. The area surrounding the community is beautiful and quiet, it makes for a very calm and relaxing lifestyle. The facility is designed perfectly for a senior living community, you can tell that it wasn't a makeshift facility, that it wasn't first designed for something else and then turned in to a facility. The residents seem to live comfortably in the community, they seem to really enjoy all that is available to them in the way of amenities, services, options, opportunities, etc. They always tell me that there is plenty to do around the community, one resident told me that every once in a while she will hear a resident complain about being bored and she says that she for the life of her cannot figure out what those residents are talking about. She says that they must be living in 2 different facilities because she says the facility she lives in is full of scheduled activities, events, programs, classes, outings, entertainment, and so much more. She said that the residents who say that they are bored must be among those type of people who are impossible to please. She said that if she wanted to she could find something to do around the facility to keep her busy every hour of every day. The activities are all very hands-on, they are activities that are appropriate for Independent and Assisted Living Residents. The staff pride themselves on offering the residents activities that will benefit their minds, bodies, and souls. The activities are exciting and creative and are ever-changing, so the residents do not have to worry about becoming bored with doing the same activities over and over again, unless of course - they want to. I have seen many of the activities take place and all of the residents just seem so happy to be there. One thing I noticed about the activities in this community is that so many of the residents show up for them. They look forward to showing up for them. I cannot tell you how many communities I have visited where no residents or only a couple of residents will show for an activity. So when I see the areas filling up for these activities, you have no idea how happy that makes me.

There are many common areas throughout the community that the residents and their families use in multiple ways. They all seem to really enjoy spending time together. Everyone always seems to be very close with one another.

There are many living options for both the Independent Living and the Assisted Living residents and they have several floor plans to choose from. All of the apartments are very well-designed and perfectly scaled to make everything easily accessible for the residents. They are actually pretty spacious and they cute little kitchenettes for preparing late-night snacks and such.

Wellsprings really shines as a senior living community and I have really enjoyed all the time I have spent there and look forward to future visits.
